well first of all please don't judge me. im a 14 year old girl and I love Janis Joplin( not in a gay way) but my love for her is for more like best friend or maybe like a soul sister( I think more like best friend) I love her personality and I can relate to her in so many ways its sooo weired. Hi, i'm 15 and keeping my height, weight, the number of days I exercise per week in view, I need about 800 calories a day. I have a Kellogs cereal for breakfast and lunch. One bowl has 113 calories which means by the time I've had lunch, I've had 226 calories. I have a digestive biscuit or a fruit if I feel hungry before dinner. A digestive biscuit has 74 calories. By dinner time, I've had 300 calories. I have a breast piece of barbecue for dinner which I'm not sure but has around 257 calories I think. Which means I have 557 calories a day. I eat more digestive biscuits if I feel I'm taking very less calories. I want to know how much weight and in how much time will I lose if I continue this diet. Thanks. :)

How can I fix my blackberry curve?

So, I bought a blackberry curve 8530 about 2 weeks ago. At first there was something wrong with the operating system, so he re installed it. But now I have an even worse problem. I'm getting the red light of death. My battery goes from full to nearly drained(on standby!) in a matter of 4-5 hours. My first battery that drained while I was at school, wouldn't turn on when I started charging it. So I just put in my secondary battery. It worked all fine and dandy for about a week. It was draining at a reasonable pace, and was charging quickly and fully. Yesterday, I got home from the movies to find that it was at 10% charge life. I put it on the charger, and it started charging. My mom must have knocked my phone or something, because when I woke up, It was totally drained and would not turn on. I just finished reading the first half (Omnibus 1), and while I found it fairly enjoyable it seemed lacking in plot/drama (too much ecchi, repetition, and lackluster characters). What type of fruit juice do you recommend for my barbecue sauce?

I already made another barbecue sauce for my uncle's family and used orange juice and it came out excellent but now I am making a much spicier one for myself and all I need to do is get more corn syrup and fruit juice. I am assuming fruit soda would work horribly, ha ha. I am also hesitant to use those Ocean Spray or Langers juice blends with 5% juice (but maybe they might work if they have a high enough concentrate of high fructose corn syrup in them, saving me from having to buy it separately). My dog is afraid of storms?

I have a female Yorkie I got her when she was 2 years old. She is very happy and loves people but when it comes to storms that is a different story. I don't know what to do to calm her. Natural teeth whitening?

I heard that if you brush your teeth with baking soda, your teeth would become pearly white. Then later on, I read that if you collect ash (after a barbecue etc) and use that to brush your teeth, it'll be white too. There's been no chance for me to try the ash one but the baking soda one does not work at all. Those whitening toothpaste doesn't work either. Any suggestions for natural ways? Most enlightening dream I ever had?

In the beginning I was at some sort of barbecue with a bunch of shadows of people. The cook wasn't there, and people started leaving. I frantically looked around for my mom but I couldn't find her. I gave up and wandered off to some apartment courtyard, and only I was there. The white flowers of this huge tree began falling all over me. I put out my hand and many flowers fell into my hand. Then all of a sudden in my other hand was my knife. I dropped it, though I'm unsure why. It cut my wrist and is was bleeding a lot. It stung, but I was mesmerized by it. It seemed to beautiful to me. I began walking with no apparent place to go. I just stared at my wound for a long time. It had stopped bleeding at this point. I looked up from my wrist and kept walking. I was in a neighborhood I've never been in before. I looked down an alleyway and there was a guy beating his girlfriend. Does not running for 2 days affect your running ablity?

I have been a lot for the past month like 25 miles a week. last week I ran 5 miles at 9 pace easily. on Friday I did a mile time trial and only ran that and a 1/2 mile warm and cool down I didn't run the weekend. today I ran 3 miles which is usually very easy for me. I ran it in 32 minutes I can easily run it under 27 I stopped at the 1/2 mile mark and I felt dizzy and about blacked out. I normally dont do this I was running by myself too. also I haven't been drinking water too much could this cause running bad?

Nauseous but no puke or dizziness, am i pregnant?

hello. im 21. the other day me and my boyfriend were arguing, got over it, and he squeezed me real hard (hugged). usually nothing happens to me when he does that, but this time i felt like i was going to puke, and gagged, but nothing came out. the next day was fathers day, and i drank two beers. i was outside and they were barbecuing and the smell of charcoal made me nauseous i couldn't stand it, which was weird because the smell never bothered me. the next day i woke up to use the restroom. i tried to lay back down and out of nowhere i started feeling nauseous again. and its not like i got drunk the previous day because two beers is nothing for me. i was gaining weight before this because i was grubbing a lot, but now i feel a loss of appetite and have started losing a couple pounds. my mood is constantly changing. while i cooked the other day i feel nauseous, when im just watching tv i feel nauseous, and when im just laying i feel nauseous. and i don't ever puke. not so much dizzy just like stomach twisting type. i took a pregnancy test but it came out negative. and my stomach has been having a stinging pain. could i be pregnant? my boyfriend and i have protected sex, but ive had a couple of friends who used condoms but they busted.

Considering your gender and age, that 3 mile time is pretty good. Increasing foot speed requires speed workouts (400m reps and 200m reps are the most common) the temp conditions you are running in is not too hot. Humidity is what kills a runner. When your sweat cant evaporate off your skin, your body cant cool down... and you know the rest. Increase speed by running more miles weekly and daily and your body will respond. running is just like building muscle. the more you tear it down, the stronger it will rebuild. Also, running is 90% mental and 10% physical. You have to grit you teeth sometimes and just get MEAN!

How can i improve for cross country?

So pretty much, i am super pissed right now. I didn't do spring track, not saying why, but i didn't do it. But i still ran. I just focoused on building up a big base, which i did. Now real summer xc training started with the team. There are some kids who barley have ran before, a fe kids who havent ran in months, and there beating me. I know its not a race but i am giving it almost 100 % and there going like at a moderate pace. I am frustrated because i felt like the whole base i built was a waste of time. How to jog when I'm tired?

I have to jog for 2 hours a day (120 minutes), on 5.0 speed which is a paced speed. The thing is, I get to about 50 minutes and I want to stop. I've once reached an 90 minutes but I had to stop because I was interrupted, so I know this is a task I'm physically able to do, it's just that I really don't want to do it. I try everything to pass the time, listen to music, watch TV, even put my head down and close my eyes on the grip bar. But all those techniques last for about 7 minutes. and it's just sooooo tiring, but I want to lose weight and get healthier. I also want to do a non stop jog, since that's the best way to help the heart. Is there any psychological exercises that make your mind not think about time, or go into some trance (LOL i'm that desperate) because I would really do anything to be able to do these two hours. And I have to do this everyday.

How much weight will I lose with this diet?

Hi, i'm 15 and keeping my height, weight, the number of days I exercise per week in view, I need about 800 calories a day. I have a Kellogs cereal for breakfast and lunch. One bowl has 113 calories which means by the time I've had lunch, I've had 226 calories. I have a digestive biscuit or a fruit if I feel hungry before dinner. A digestive biscuit has 74 calories. By dinner time, I've had 300 calories. I have a breast piece of barbecue for dinner which I'm not sure but has around 257 calories I think. Which means I have 557 calories a day. I eat more digestive biscuits if I feel I'm taking very less calories. I want to know how much weight and in how much time will I lose if I continue this diet. Thanks. :)

Would you consider my Zebra Danios to active for certain fish?

I have a 20 gallon aquarium at the moment with 3 zebra danios and 2 longfin danios. I have read repeatedly throughout the internet that zebra danios are to active for some fish. But mine don't seem like the constant dart-y swimmers some make them out to be. They swim at a moderate pace and sometimes get speedy when playing with each other. They have also been in a tank with cory cats before, and they payed the cory cats no mind. So, I was wondering, could my danios coexist with some timid and/or slower moving fish? Or is it just to risky?

Is it bad for a dog to be shut up in a 15' by 15' fenced in area, alone, for a week with no human interaction?

This dog has food, water and shelter. Even so, its been extremely hot out. 95 to 100 degrees.Theres also been some severe storms. the dog paces nervously when I come over to give it water. I am not allowed to let him out.he has bit someone before. I just put a hose in to make sure he has water. He has an automatic feeder full of food in there.He's not so bad that they can't be around him. I have seen the dog recently run around the front yard for about a minute. I think he just has potential to bite. The dogs demeaner seems playful and sweet at times(seeing him from across the street) but when he's in the fenced in area he paces and seems off. Only way I can think to describe it. just feel like somethings not right with the dog. Probably why they have him back there. I feel bad for this dog but I'm not sure if I'm worried about nothing.The caged in thing just seems bad for him but I think the owners feel they have no other choice. They are nice people. I don't believe they would ever intentionally mistreat there dog. I just wonder if they may not realize it.They probably do spend time with it and play with him in the backyard and take him places for all I know. Sense I know for sure the dog is going to be caged up for at least a week now and its so god awful hot out I feel like its not quite right. The dog does have shelter from the sun and two buckets of water and food. Its just a tiny area with no human or animal interaction except when I come over to make sure his water is full. I have a 16 month old, small (55 lb), female rescue GSD. She has a lot of energy, more than that could be solved with a daily walk. I really want to do some type of activity/competition with her. We are looking at agility because she is super fast, nimble, agile, and can jump very high! She is very smart and can learn to do almost anything. She has pretty much no fear! She also has a high prey drive, and is very workable. I want this activity to tire her out because of all her energy. Is agility a good choice? Seems like a lot of work but is it worth it? I bought a barbecue lighter so I can take the sparker from inside it. I noticed the gas inside and it was attached to a small pipe. I removed the piper from it and kept it on my desk. Okay, so for field hockey we do a run of varying length in the beginning of practice, and I have a friend who beats me during a lot of them, and when we run together I have to try a lot harder to run at the same pace. The thing that REALLY pisses me off is that I practice a lot more than her. I run on all of my days off (its preseason so we only have practice 3 times a week) and am always changing it up (tempo runs, interval type runs, ect.) and I push myself insanely hard during all of them. ON CONCRETE IT GOES FINE, NOT IN THE GRASS. I REPLACED THE BELT. THE SPRING IS ATTACHED TO THE ARM THAT MOVES THE GEAR BOX ,ROTATING THE GEAR BOX ON THE AXEL WHICH TIGHTENS THE BELT. THE SPRING IS FASTENED TO THE CABLE AND IS NOT REMOVABLE. WHEN THE COVER OF THE BEARING WENT THROUGH THE RING AND PINION, IT TOOK THE TEETH OFF OF THEM. I have heard people call her as much, and yet I have seen no evidence. I am 24 and not yet done with my degree. I have one college algebra course until I get my Associates (already walked, but need that class). My local university won't allow me to go any further until I finish that algebra. I have a severe case of dyscalculia and can't find another fully online math course so I can go at my own pace. If I finished math I would have about 1 year to go. I am so embarrassed and super jealous of anyone with a degree or "real" job. My math stupidity is holding me back and otherwise I have a 3.5 gpa! (so I am not stupid.)... What online programs (In Texas and public schools) will allow me to do my degree completely online? I am so lost!

I bought a filet of salmon at the store (on sale!). I've never really cooked with salmon before but the grill is already hot so I figure I'll throw it on. It sounds like you have a lot going on in your life right now. I am also a 14 year old girl and about to enter high school as well. And quite frankly i don't think there is anything wrong with being different. I think its great that you like the Beatles, The Doors, and the Rolling Stones! And that you like to read! i think reading is a great thing you can escape from the world for a little while and just get lost in words. I think you need to find something positive in your life, and gain a little more self confidence. You need you be proud of our self! You sound cool and individual, don't be so hard on yourself. School is tough when you don't really fit in but when you finish school you'll find others who you relate to. If its tough now, Try concentrating on what you Want to do with your life later on. Don't worry about not having a boyfriend yet, I used to think exactly like you (in fact I relate to a lot of what you've said) but now that I'm older I realize it was silly to think that way. I found an amazing guy who loves me but it didn't happen til I was over 20. Trust me, you will find someone, don't rush into it. Work on learning to love yourself and you'll attract someone through your confidence in yourself, I guarantee it. Keep being yourself and work on having a positive attitude. Why don't I feel normal? Please can I have some serious answers?

I head seems so messed up. I haven't cut myself in a little less than a year but when I did cut myself I felt so happy. It hurt to cut myself, but once it was done I felt so good. Like a whole lot of weight was lifted off my shoulders. I have really vivid dreams of me killing people or people dieing. There are times where I try to save them from the enemy. I feel so depressed at times which has sometimes led to an anxiety attack. I am a patient person and always have a smile on my face. For as far back as 5th grade, I have bottled up my emotions. When I am angry I am full of rage and feel like I am on the brink of snapping and losing it. I cannot even remember the last time I cried.I workout out and run 6 days a week. I am a healthy 23 year old 5'10 1/2" and 180lbs. Sometimes I get so depressed I do not even want to eat. When I close my eyes I feel the emotional pain.I no longer sleep because I have this pain in my shoulder and neck and sometimes lower pack to the point where I cannot sleep. What is weird is the pain will one day be on my right side and then the next be on my left side and both in the same spot. The pain is not from working out because I do it with perfect form. Maybe this is where I store my stress, I don't know. Deep down inside I feel so empty and lifeless. I have NEVER had suicidal thoughts. So when I did go to cut myself, everything just seemed like it stopped and slowed down a bit. It felt great but I knew it wasn't good for me.Then again things do seem to go at a faster pace then they should be. What the hell is wrong with me?

My kitten wants to go outside, all the time....advice ?

Two months ago I got an adorable kitten, he was two months at the time. Now he's almost 4 months, and is up to date with his shots. I do have a collar for him with his name, and our address just in case he does run outside. So basically when I first got him, the weather was getting hot outside, so my family started barbecuing again. I'd feel bad because he'd had to be inside, while we were outside enjoying the weather. So at time my siblings, or I would carry him outside for a few minutes. At first he was subtle , but than he started running out of arms, and heading in bushes. My mom only allowed him to go to our bedrooms, living room etc, if he stays an indoor cat. That's why we stopped taking him outside, because he's literally prone to get dirty. Now he keeps meowing, and always wants to be let out. Our vet told us no, he said it was dangerous, and our kitten would fight with other cats. He acts violent if he can't go outside,or he keeps meowing. At times I let him on our drive way for a little bit, but he keeps running of to the road, or dirty places. So i don't know what to do, he's always meowing to go outside, or he acts possessed and jumps every where until we take him outside, but then he doesn't listen to us !

My gf is a real horse enthusiast and happens to own horses herself. She spends any spare time riding her horse since she lives on farm land. It is a big passion of hers and we have a lot of conversations about her mastering jump courses and whatever skills she is working on. I even went to her horse show last weekend and watched her compete. Here is the problem, she wants me to ride a horse with her by some lake near her house on Saturday and have like a picnic. It sounds really fun and romantic. The problem is that I have never been on a horse before and I am actually a little scared. I guess I am asking, is it difficult to ride a horse at walking pace? I don’t want to let her down and when I told her I never been on a horse but want to learn, she said its super easy to (trail ride). How can I get my mom to stop controlling my wedding?

I am recently engaged and my fiance and I have started trying to wedding plan. I want a small outdoor wedding with barbecue at the reception. This fits mine and my fiance's personalities perfectly. My mom is insistent that I get married in my childhood church so that everyone will give me gifts and not have hurt feelings and that it all be inside. She also finds it to be very tacky to have barbecue at the reception. She thinks we should could be married at mid afternoon and have mints and cake to eat. I do not like going to weddings like this so why should I plan mine like this? Not sure what's going on for a while but Im noticing that my pace is slower only at work. I want to better myself. I need your advice. I've had so many jobs and most recent one I unfortunately got fired. I used to work for a non profit for so many years I loved it and was praised for my work I was an Administrative Coordinator. I left that job 2 years ago to go abroad and now I'm at a new job and will soon be hired permanent. It requires alot of Data entry which I tend to slow down on and I don't do it on purpose I'm a good worker and Im praised at other tasks which is why I'm getting a permanent position. I want to enhance my skills and I can practice my data entry but i tend to see others be more ahead of me. Like today I had to input data entry it's taken me 2 days and gal next to me took her 2 hours! I couldn't believe it I was so embarrased and my manager noticed it and appointed it to me in front of everyone.This job will start for me in two months and I don't want to disappoint my manager or anyone. I remain positve and I'm willing to do whatever it takes. I have a family to attend to and would be devasted if this worsens. What type of fruit juice do you recommend for my barbecue sauce?

I already made another barbecue sauce for my uncle's family and used orange juice and it came out excellent but now I am making a much spicier one for myself and all I need to do is get more corn syrup and fruit juice. I am assuming fruit soda would work horribly, ha ha. I am also hesitant to use those Ocean Spray or Langers juice blends with 5% juice (but maybe they might work if they have a high enough concentrate of high fructose corn syrup in them, saving me from having to buy it separately). Why does AFL Live suck??? and why are my players never the man in front?

I don't get it I mean who made this game because I tackle teams like literally 80 times in a 20 minute match and the are like 4 free kicks for both sides at the end of the game. So like 160 tackles and 8 free kicks I mean WTF!!! and there is no holding the man rule so they tackle me after I handball or kick it away then they through me to the ground and push my face in the dirt when they are getting up. And how come I am never the man in front like when I have the ball I kick to a player and the opposition are practically leading instead. Because of this I can never stop them working it up the ground. but is there any way I can make the game more like actual gameplay not just tackle ball up and then chase the ball rolling on the ground and have them tackle you strait away because every player has the same pace even if there like short player take on tall player. Pernell Whitaker vs Joe Gans?

My friend people seem to forget that the "Old Master" was much more than just tough and durable. He had perfect timing and was a great ring technician and arguably one of the top 10 greatest p4p fighters in history. If not for some prearranged fights and tuberculosis late in his career, he might have never lost. He not only was a great boxer but had great punching power too. Pernell Whitaker just may be the greatest defensive fighter in boxing history as he could stand right in front of his opponent and still make them miss and counter with punches from almost impossible angles. To me he really only truly lost one career fight as he losses to Ramirez and De La Hoya were travesties and his draw vs Chavez was also a rip off. If there was a knock to be had against Whitaker is that perhaps he wasn't aggressive enough but that just wasn't his style as he looked to pick apart his opponent and make them miss. Against Gans he would be fighting the greatest fighter he ever faced. I believe this would be a chess match with Whitaker trying to frustrate the intelligent Joe Gans. Gans would quite possibly land more punches on Whitaker than he's accustomed to in this fight and take the close but unanimous decision in this entertaining fight.
